TCP Challenge #6, 2nd entry

First, please let me apologize for the quality of the pictures. A new camera isn't in the current budget.

This is my 2nd entry to The Crafting Pot's challenge #6. Another napkin ring that also doubles as a place card. I just learned how to do those cute little roses. Super easy (and Cam keeps asking me to make them for him LOL).

I used the same papers that I did for the first entry. What's hard to see in the pics are the metallic shiny stripes interspersed with the others.

Am I a heathen for not having cloth napkins?

TCP Challenge #6, 1st entry

I titled this "1st entry" because I'm hoping I can get my 2nd entry done on time.

I used a tp tube as the base. I put a copper paper on the inside and a patterned paper on the outside. I found those cute little brads at Michael's. When I bought them weeks ago, I wasn't sure what I'd use them for. I think they are perfect here!

November's Goal

Home Sanctuary has challenged the Company Girls to set and write down a goal for November - big or small. So my goal is to declutter my home and not let my perfectionist tendencies get in the way. I will just take one room at a time...then within that room one surface at a time. And I won't stress about finishing the whole room in one day.

Since I did a good cleaning on my bathroom this morning, I'll start there. I can probably knock this one out today - but no worries if I don't! Perfectionism won't bind me on this one! I think I'll do the easy rooms first and save the difficult ones for last (like the playroom and the kitchen).

Wanna join me?
